Block Talk Toolkit
Check out this toolkit for hosting your own Block Talk!
Block Talks, also known as walk audits, are community events that bring together a variety of people to walk a specific area and create a list of recommendations for improvement to make it more safe, enjoyable, and convenient for all. Groups then work to make those changes as they are able.
Recommended changes could range from simple beautification projects like adding planters or signage to an area, to more complex improvements like adding a bike lane, redeveloping a vacant building or updating traffic signals.
Toolkit developed in 2019 with AARP Nebraska and ONE Omaha.
