Vision
Together, our region will be known for welcoming, connected and lively communities that offer residents a range of housing choices and locations.
This committee is working to encourage greater housing choice for both existing communities and suburban areas; and to promote redevelopment without displacing current residents.

The Heartland 2050 Action Plan outlines the short-, mid- and long-range goals and strategies of the Housing & Development Committee.

Committee Meetings
Housing & Development Committee meetings are held on the third Thursday of every other month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sep, Nov) from 3-4:30 p.m.
Meetings are open to the public and you are invited to join us!

Working Groups
Working groups are subcommittees formed around a specific topic area or effort. Working groups are led by a ‘champion,’ are overseen by the Committee they fall under, and generally manage their own meetings and work.
