
Natural Resources Committee Meeting

Please join Comunidad Maya Pixan Ixim (CMPI) and the Papio-Missouri River Natural Resources District (NRD) as they share about their partnership on the Beltline Trail. Please note this meeting will be held at 4101 Grant St. CMPI has developed an indigenous-centered, community-driven vision to transform 8.5 acres of land in North Omaha and is actively seeking input on how to develop part of their land-prioritizing sustainability, cultural identity, and community well-being. This is an outdoor event and have the following suggestions:
Clothing: Lightweight, breathable, and comfortable
Footwear: Walking or hiking shoes are recommended
Sun Protection: Sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses
Bug Protection: Mosquito repellent (wooded area)
Extras: A sweat towel, water bottle, and optional umbrella.
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener, a passionate community member, or simply curious, your presence and input matter.
