Madison Woodrum is Heartland 2050’s Intern. Ms. Woodrum joined MAPA staff in November 2015 while studying communications as a Presidential Scholar and working as a Student Ambassador at Iowa Western Community College. She has since graduated with an Associate of Arts in communications. Madi is currently enrolled in the Geography Undergraduate Program at UNO and intends to pursue a Master of Arts in Geography with a concentration in Human Geography. At MAPA, Madi provides logistics and communications support for the Heartland 2050 project. In the fast-paced work environment around the project, organization can be overlooked and start to unravel. Madi is tasked with managing contacts, preparation and follow-up work for meetings and events, creating content for Heartland 2050’s social media, and the general organization and review of data and copy.
