Madison Woodrum is Heartland 2050’s Intern. Ms. Woodrum joined MAPA staff in November 2015 while studying communications as a Presidential Scholar and working as a Student Ambassador at Iowa Western Community College. She has since graduated with an Associate of Arts in Communications. Madi recently graduated from the Geography Undergraduate Program at UNO with a Bachelor of Science in Geography and is starting her pursuit towards a Master of Arts in Geography with a concentration in GIS and Technology in the fall of 2018. At MAPA, Madi provides logistics and communications support for the Heartland 2050 project. In the fast-paced work environment around the project, organization can be overlooked and start to unravel. Madi is tasked with managing contacts, preparation and follow-up work for meetings and events, creating content for Heartland 2050’s social media, and the general organization and review of data and copy.
