Expanding Housing Choices: Consumer Perspective

Commerce Village and Omaha Missing Middle Campaign members are hosting Expanding Housing Choices: Consumer Perspective at Rail and Commerce.

Join MAPA, AARP Nebraska, AARP Iowa and UNO Center of Public Affairs and Research (CPAR) to look at the obstacles and opportunities for new housing options in the metro.

Eli Spevak, founder of Orange Splot, LLC will discuss “missing middle” housing and how to fill the gap using new models of housing such as Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s), refurbished apartments and new multi-family construction.

Orange Splot is a housing development company and general contractor with a goal to create community-oriented, affordable and green housing. They create small, functional and beautiful homes with interior and exterior common spaces to foster interactions among residents.

This event is free, open to the public and will include time to network and ask questions. Appetizers and beverages will be provided.
