Public Comment Open for Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)

MAPA seeks public comment on its Draft Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). 

The CEDS serves as a blueprint for economic resiliency for the Omaha-Council Bluffs six-county region and serves as a road map to strengthen and diversify the regional economy through the collaboration of the public and private sectors.

MAPA is responsible for submitting an updated CEDS to the U.S. Economic Development Administration every five years.

The public comment period runs from Nov. 4 to Dec. 4, 2020.  Written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. Dec. 4, 2020 via email to or U.S. mail:  MAPA, 2222 Cuming St., Omaha, NE 68102.
